Safety-First Operational Mindset

Operations involving marine, diving, and subsea activities require a high level of awareness, coordination, and discipline.
At Deep Diving Solutions, safety is treated as a practical responsibility embedded into daily operations rather than a theoretical statement.

Before commencing any activity, tasks are reviewed to understand site conditions, access limitations, and operational risks.
Work is planned in alignment with client instructions, project scope, and prevailing marine and environmental conditions

System Overview

Controlled Execution & Risk Awareness

Marine and diving operations are executed with a focus on controlled work methods and clear communication between all involved parties.
Roles and responsibilities are defined at the project level to ensure coordination between diving teams, vessel crews, and onshore support.

Stop Work Authority

All personnel are empowered to stop work if unsafe conditions arise, including weather changes, equipment concerns, or operational risks. Work resumes only once conditions are reviewed and deemed safe.

Visible Leadership

Supervisors and senior personnel remain actively involved in planning and site activities, providing clear direction, oversight, and support to maintain safe and controlled operations.

Environmental Consideration & Site Responsibility

Marine environments require careful handling to avoid unnecessary disturbance during operational activities.
We aim to conduct works with consideration for surrounding marine life, seabed conditions, and project-specific environmental constraints.

Activities are performed within defined work areas and durations, in line with client requirements and site instructions.
Waste handling, equipment deployment, and vessel movements are managed responsibly within the limits of the project scope.

Risk Assessment

Operational risks are assessed before work begins, taking into account site conditions, scope of work, environmental factors, and marine activity.

Emergency Response

In the event of an emergency, personnel immediately report to the designated supervisor and follow established response procedures to ensure safety and coordination.

Competency Assurance

Diving operations are carried out by trained personnel, including divers certified under IMCA and ADCI standards, appropriate to the scope of work.

Incident Investigation

Any incidents or near-misses are reviewed to identify causes and apply corrective actions aimed at preventing recurrence and improving operational practices.

Personnel Medical Fitness

Strict adherence to MACA and IMCA D 20/01 medical examination standards for all saturation and air divers.

Supervision Protocols

Every operation is managed by an IMCA-certified Diving Supervisor with full autonomy over the dive panel.
